So you can check whether the lender you are interested in is on such a list – if not, we can say with a high probability that it is a company operating honestly and legally. In addition to the name of the entity entered on the list, we will also find information about the proceedings against him, the indictment and the stage at which the case is currently located.
Who goes on the list of public warnings?

It can therefore be said that all entities operating or investing in a manner incompatible with Polish law and acting to the detriment of consumers are put on the list of public warnings. In the list of such companies and institutions, we will find suspects for extorting data, money, financial frauds and embezzlers.
From where KNF takes information, ie sources of warnings
The Polish Financial Supervision Authority examines all reports indicating the possibility of committing a crime – both from the victims themselves, private persons, companies and institutions, and even the media, journalists themselves. Conducts the proceedings on its own and in case of evident indications – reports the matter to the prosecutor’s office. All applications received by the Polish Financial Supervision Authority Office as well as signals reported to the police, the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection or the National Court Register are taken into account.
